I did it! If you’re reading this, I finally launched my blog. I’ve only been dreaming and planning it for six years, yeah, s-i-x years. Shesh already. I realize as with everything else in life, nothing is perfect, and there will never be the perfect time to do something. You just gotta dive in and make adjustments as you go. So this is me, diving in, hoping I get better each step along the way…
Something you should know about me is I’m a planner. I love looking forward to things and the process of planning, designing and celebrating life moments. Speaking of, I feel like we should celebrate this moment with Cake! I’m a baker and I love to create, so originally I wanted to publish a recipe blog. However, six years later my life has changed drastically and there’s so much more I want to share and talk about! So expect recipes, yes, but also information about living a healthier balanced lifestyle, fitness and, as I mentioned above, life moments.
Give me an excuse to throw a party and I’m all over it! This explains the balloon too, right? Recipes, lifestyle, fitness and celebratory posts are on the horizon and I’m excited! Did I mention I love celebrating things? I’m pretty sure it’s my love language. I love to dream up special ways to love on those in my life. I theme and design everything to fit the occasion and honoree. It’s slightly an obsession. It can be difficult for me to know just when enough is enough, but that’s when it gets interesting. Like the time I threw an “Under the Sea” 2nd birthday party for my daughter. My husband helped me build an 8′ tall Ursula out of chicken wire, paper mâché and paint. Yes, I said 8 F-E-E-T tall! It was fabulous but also probably not necessary. She scared the kids, but boy was she a sight to see. I promise to dig up old pictures and post later!
Oh yeah, I’ve done a complete mind and body reboot in the last 5-ish years. People ask me all the time how I’ve done it and how they can have their version of it for themselves. I realize I can use my story and the things I’ve experienced and learned along the way to fill in some gaps, as well as support and inspire others on their journey. I’m excited to bring that to a larger audience on this platform now too! So I hope you’ll join me and follow along.
